Years after leaving her family and hometown behind to build a life of her own, Nisa returns to her aunt Zehra’s home for her uncle’s funeral. Having come from the same past but drifted into different lives, the two women recognize familiar traces of themselves in one another, as well as the possibilities of lives that might have been. Their encounter leads Nisa to reconsider her own past and future.
